Day 15 - Travel Day
We left Arches and Moab, heading to Jackson Hole Wyoming. Long, pretty ride. Did I say long...9 hours...
Two new states
Snake River
Jackson Hole
Day 14 - Arches National Park
Today we did some hiking in Arches National Park; Devil's Garden to be exact. After off-roading on Hell's Revenge yesterday, we are starting to wonder about Moab.
We climbed some aggressive and steep rocks to get up close and personal with the arches. It was amazing.
This is from the bottom, we hiked to this arch, it was amazing.

Day 13 - Moab Offroading
Today we spent the morning off-roading in Moab Utah. We drove up some serious inclines, so much so that all you could see was the sky. We did one decline called Dragon's Tail. If we didn't have brakes and sticky tires, we would have done a forward flip.
We took one video, the was the tame part where Dee didn't have to hold on
It poured most of the day but we had a blast. The trails were called Fins and Things (easy) & Hells Revenge (difficult) - Google it.
Check out our really cool shirts, you can thank Sara for that one!!
Day 12 - Canyonland & Moab
Happy Birthday Dee
We left Mesa Verde and headed for Canyonland and Moab, Utah.

Day 11 - But wait there is more
Sara spotted some "wild" horses on the side of the road
Here are some other shoots of the trip, we finally got WiFi service to download from our cameras - see if you can guess where

Day 11 - Mesa Verde
Mesa Verde is in the southwest corner of Colorado. It is where Indian tribes live over a thousand years ago. Initially, they lived on top of the Mesa, but eventually they moved over the edges on the cliffs.
Our first tour was to Balcony House. The National Park Service warns visitors that this is the most aggressive hike in the park; not because of the length or rigor, but because of the heights. If you have fear of heights, you probably shouldn't go. Sara and Dee both are not comfortable, but go anyway.
Climbing a 32 foot ladder to get into the ruins was scary (but fun).

And look another ladder
I think Sara wasn't appreciating us at this moment.
We went to other ruins throughout the day
Sun Temple
Cliff Palace from across the way
The last tour was of Cliff Palace, the largest of the dwellings. This hike waas a piece of cake in comparison
